 It's better to burn out......
Victoria picked him up. He wasn't heavey for a shifter. She kissed his head and then smiled. "You look hungry, don't you?" She said as she held him close to her body. He was a medium sized dog, but he didn't have that much fat, so he wasn't that big either.
She walked outside and then put him on the ground and walked over to the fence. She took her belt off and threw it up to the top again. She thought about leaving it, but didn't want to have to go through all of the trouble having to make up an aliby if she was arrested or caught.
She went to the bottom of the fence and cut the chain links with a pair of cutters she had in her pocket. It was big enough for a human and a dog to crawl through. She climbed back up the fence and retrieved the belt like she had done earlier and dropped back to her feet.
She crawled through the bottom and then looked back at the wolf. "Come on big boy, we got food waiting for us at home," She smiled and whistled.

Jaden watched as she went under the fence. she Looked back at him. "Come on big boy, we got food waiting for us at home," She smiled and whistled. Jaden quickly ran up tot he hole, and Slid easily through. He shook himself.
He wast starting to like her....but that scent was still in his nose, teasing him. What was it?

It's better to burn out......
Victoria laughed as the wolf ran to her. He did look more like a dog in the dark. She headed towards where she parked her car. On the way, she saw two figures in her periferal vision.
The two figured advanced in front of her and blocked her from going anywhere. A third person immerged from the darkness and came up to Victoria, five feet before her.
Victoria backed up and tried to turn, but two more immerged behind her. She was surrounded. She saw the little wolf she found earlier a few meters behind them. He was out of site of them at least. She wouldn't kill them, but she would stun them.
She whirled back around and then the man grabbed her. He held her by the arm and then spoke. His breath smelled of alcohal and decay. "Where you going chika?" He asked her, a cruel smile on his face. She didn't reply for a few moments then finally spoke up, her accent layed on thick. "Away from you. That's for sure." She told him and soon regretted it.
The man smacked her across the face and reached for his belt. He pulled something out. It was black and it was metllic. It was a gun.
He pointed it at her head and still held on to her arm. "You mind your manners, Chika, it's danerous around these parts." He said. She made another witty remark. "That danger wouldn't happen to be you, would it, estupida cabeza?" She asked. She was smacked again. Her lip was now busted and blood spilt from heer mouth.
"I told you to mind your manners, chika." He said and laughed. He threw Victoria on the ground an dpointed the gun at herr. He aimed it at her heart and went to pull the top's tip, laoding it and then he took it off safety.
"Usted se arrepentira si me hacen dano. Confia en mi." She replied. It was in perfect spanish, but it sounded weird with her British accent.
The guy shot the ground right next to her hip. Dirt shot up and Victoria rolled a backflip and launched her feet up in the air and stood, landing on all fours. She was now a coyote.
She launched herself at the man and landed ontop of him, on the ground. She barred her fangs and he had a frightened look spread across his face. Horror.
He tried to get up, but she pinned him down. The others around the two ran for their lives, frightened and thinking this man was dead meat.
Victoria turned bak to human and took out her tazer from her belt. She tazed him right in the rib cage. He wouldn't be waking up for a while, if he ever did, he woudn't have any memory of this night. Or most of that day. She was still on top of him when she heard the wolf coming around the corner. She hoped he didn't hear the gun shot.

Jaden watched as all the action came on and off. He heard gunshots, and...Spanish? Jaden knew Spanish..but it sounded weird.
Jaden watched as the girl shifted into a coyote, and his eyes grew wide. She's a shifter! I can probably show her my human form...she would understand..right?
Not now..He couldn't...maybe at her house..where it would be safer?
Jaden quickly ran up to her, and wagged his tail, hoping she wasn't hurt. He glanced at the man and the ground, and gave a low grunt.

Victoria looked down at the small wolf. Her eyes were twinkling with excitement. "Okay, let's go," She smiled. She walked to her car without trouble this time. She opened the passenger dorr and waited for the small dog animal to crawl in.

Jaden wagged his tail, and quickly walked up to the car. He jumped in the passengers seat. Jaden wagged his tail even faster, and sat on his haunches.
Yes, that's what He would do. Since she was a shifter, then could actually talk about the shifters world. He would have to wait till they were in her room without any other humans around. He didn't want to blow anything. This could be his last chance....

Victoria laughed and hopped in the car in the driver's side after shutting the passenger's door. "Hope you like your new home, boy. You can stay there as long as you want," She said, her accent fluent. She smiled and looked over to him. They were now on the road, heading towards her beach house.
She pulled into the drive of her new hosue she bought only a couple days before. She got out of the car and let the small wolf-like dog out. She waited for im to get out, when he did, she walked with him trailing in her stpes towards the house. She went up to the porch, it was dark, but her two parents were there. They were on their computers doing business with someone overseas. "Hey mom, hey dad, look what I found!" She said excited. They paid her no attention and her mother just responded, "Okay honey, take it up to your room, do whatever. We're kind of busy right now. We'll see you at breakfast."
Victoria looked to the ground and just said, "Okay.. Thanks.. See ya in the morning, I guess.." And walked away slowly, disappointment and a hint of sadness now on her face.
She walked up to her room, the fuzzy little dog thing trailing behind her. She shut the room and went into the bathroom. "How about we give you a bath boy, hmm?" She smiled, gentleness and excitement back on her face rather then her moment ago sadness look.

Jaden shook his head, and jumped on her bed. He would have to show her now...he couldn't let her take him a bath! Jaden then jumped down from the bed, and paced the room quickly. He looked around, and saw an open closet.
Jaden quickly ran into the closet and his into the far end where she wouldn't see him. He then started to shift. A low, hissing sound escaped from the closet door, and a small, 14 year old took the place of the wolf.
Jaden rubbed his eyes from the shock. He looked around, blinking to get the blur away. He grinned, his hair covering his eyes.

Victoria walked back into the room and dropped what she had when she saw the human. She pointed to the boy that was sitting by her closet. She pointed to where he was when she went into the bathroom. She pointed back to him and then feinted. She fell oover on her side nad rolled on to her back. She was out cold for a couple minutes.

Jaden quickly got up, looking around frantically. "W-What!? How? WHY!?" He quickly went over to where she was and looked around. The bathroom...
He quickly got up, and ran into the bathroom. He turned on the faucet, and grabbed a nearby cup. He filled that up, and ran up to her again, and did what all little kids would probably do: He poured it on her.
