Victoria grinned and snickered. "On your mark.....get set-t-t-t........GO!" She said and took off running, Jaden matching her pace. She would have to run almost as fast as she could to be able to beat him. "Where are we racing to?" She said, panting. Her coyote form was strong and fast. Her paws hit the ground with a thump and left the ground with a silent wind.

Jaden took off running, pacing as fast as she was. He scanned the landscape, and saw at the far end a big oak tree. "To the Oak tree..." He grinned. "AND AWAY!!" Jaden sped off, leaving Victoria a few feet away from him.

Victoria ran as fast as she could. "What does the winner get?" She laughed and then pulled a few inches ahead of him. The tree neared closer, they would be there any second now. She slowed a bit, not wanting to max out her strength and be too tired to return home or to do anything else for the rest of the night. The tree was now about fifteen seconds away.

Jadens eyes shined at the topic of a prize. Though he couldn't really think of anything, he thought of narrowing down the topics: Something for the loser? Maybe them doing something embarrassing..then there is the thought of me losing.... Jaden sped up his pace. "How about both winner And loser get a nice cold drink, and a good's night rest?" It was both fair, and deserving for the hard working shifters.

Victoria laughed. JAden beat her by a couple centimeters. She shifted back to human and slowed. She shifted quite often. Victoria laughed again. "Looks like you win. You still sure that's all the winner should get?" She smiled and grinned. She was getting used to him being around. She would be lonely when he left. He was pretty fun to hang around. She was actually having fun for once in her life.

Jaden prances to a stop, and nodded. "All's fair, right?" He shook himself, and layed down, panting. He loved this. Not only was she a shifter, but they were getting along like brother and sister! Well...maybe not brother and sister. Must spouses fought over everything.
Lets just say, close friends.

Victoria layed beside Jaden. "I guess.." She said. She shuckled as she thought of something funny. She looked up to the stars, the twinkle in her eyes brighter then ever. "You know.. I've had the most fun tonight than I've had in a few years..." She looked over to him and smiled. "Thank you." She said and kissed his cheek. She looked back to the stars, smiling.

Jaden blinked as a soft pressure collapsed on his cheek. Of course, if he was in his human form, he would be blushing like crazy. But with the thick fur around animals, no animal could really blush. He just wagged his tail happily and said in a quick slur "YourWelcome".

Victoria chuckled as she heard his tail wag. She looked back at him and smiled. He really was handsome for his age. They were only a couple months apart. "You would enjoy it more if you were in human form," She laughed. Her black clothes blended into the night and she leaped up. She walked a few steps froward and looked out at the beach. She would usually sit on his vary hill, her knees pulled to her chest and her head resting on her knees with her arms around them. She would just stare out at the beach. It was beautiful.

Jaden watched her get up, and gave a wolf grin. He looked out at the landscape, and watched as the sun slowly went below the hill. It really was beautiful...
