The sun was at the lowest point in the sky, a cold breeze was slowly running through the land. The silloette of a large border collie sat in the horizon. The dog sat watching the sun slowly sink down into the horizon, disappearing, but leaving a spell of wildly beautiful colors.
In the opposite direction another floating ball gave the sky a dark gothic feel, but brought small balls of gas, that lite up the sky after the sun has long gone. Constellations floated over head as Domino tried to read them, the big dipper held most of his attention. It was the only one he knew. Where was the north star, he didn't know. Wheres the little dipper, he didn't know. Wheres the big dipper, right there!
Domino, with the sun, slowly sank onto his perch, a large rock in the middle of the cities park. His eyes gazing into the horizon as stars appeared behind the haze of reds and pinks the sun let trail behind it.
Once the colors dissappeared, he thought long and hard about things in his life, every few moments a tear would fall from his hardened face. Then a soft smile would brush his lips. Remembering the hardships, losses, and loves of his life.
Hours passed and then he found himself stiff and cold when his bladder finally got the better of his memories. Standing he could feel the breeze drag over his body now. Hopping from his rocky ledge he could smell grass again as his scent sence re-entered his mind and the memories slowly faded.
A black and white shadow stalked the park stopping to sniff and then move on, finding the oh so perfect tree to leak on.
Finding it, he planted three legs firmly on the ground and raised one so the nails of the paw grazed the tree when the leg moved, then he let his bladder function correctly. His leg dropped, stepping in an akward manor to avoid his mark on the tree and then he trotted through the park, finding the same rock was a little harder now the moon was the only light. The white reflected off everything now, but eventually he found the large rock and sat beside it, gathering strengh to actually make the 7 foot leap on the giant smooth surface. At the same time trying to remember how he hadn't broken anything when he jumped off of the big sphere.

Katelyn walked through the park, her silhouette beaming on the ground, a dark shadow. She walked to the figure sitting on the big rock type eature the park had sitting on it's surface.
"There room for two up there?" She smiled, asking the dog.
Katelyn wore a white button-up shirt, along with black skinny jeans and black and white converse sneaker type shoes. She also wore a fancy necklace that was around her neck. It had a glowing orb that looked like a pearl on it's chain. Her hair looked black with the moon's light.
Katelyn waited for a reply after looking around, the perimeter dark and silent like a phantom at night.
She looked back at the dog, awaiting a reply.

Domino looked down and smiled. He jumped down, and huffed when he hit the ground. His tail wagged and he put his paws on her shoulders, letting his heat boil over. His paws turned to hands and feet, his black plaid button up was opened over his grey-t and black jeans.
His tiger shark tooth necklace hung tightly over his neck and bear feet. Yeah, just a hard time gettin up there. he hugged her and then backed up. Hows life been?
Backing up a bit, he leaned on the giant center peice in the park, the 7 foot rock he had laid down on earlier. Domino smiled at Katelyn and then his face turned red, whoa. Why'd he just make a fool outta himself. Freaking out over her, wasn't his smartest move?

Katelyn looked at him and smiled when he hugged her.
"Pretty good, been busy lately, though... How has life treated you lately?" She giggled.
She looked at him and smiled, her cheeks hot.
She looked at the small road that was a trail in the park.
"How'd you like to take a walk with me?" She asked him, taking his hand.

Domino smiled at her and stumbled. How you been lately? I haven't seen you around in a while. Sure. Where to? He smiled and took her hand as he walked.
He looked into the sky as he walked with her and matched his pace with hers. Man, It's been lonely without a certain german shepard to run around with. And you wern't there to help me out the last time I got my ass kicked. He grinned and kept quite waiting for her reply, or he might literally talk her ear off. His stomach twisted inside as he walked. Every step seemed to twist it again and again.
His face rushed red and his voice stumbled over words. Trying to pick out the best ones to say.

Katelyn smiled as Domino walked with her.
"I've been good.. But I do need to talk to you about something.." She looked to the ground.
"Everytime I see you, I feel like I'm somebody else.. Somebody who actually enjoys life.. And I want you to know that you mean a lot to me, Domino... I love you." She stopped and looked at him.
"And I mean what I say.... Do you love me, Domino?" She asked him, her eyes twinkling. She put her arms around him and hugged him.

Domino listened, then his stomach dropped to the floor. He coughed and looked around for a distraction. His blood pressure spiked and his face flushed, then without warning he dropped. His paws hitting the ground.
Dumbfounded he looked down and at his rump, a tail and fur. Why had he shifted? Then he looked up, waiting for seering eyes above. His tail tucked down and he crouched on the ground like a beaten dog. His leather jacket sat firmly over his chest and all the other cloths he had been wearing were torn to shreads and lay thrown on the dirt. Yet the leather jeacket, like always gripped his body tightly.
Domino finally looked up with pleading eyes. He had done stupid stuff to piss her off but this hadn't been one of them. A low whine rumbled from his chest and his tail still sagged between his legs as his body hugged the ground, silent all but the creaking leather as it touched and rubbed together.

KAtelyn smiled down at him and kneeled. She put her arms around Domino's furry body and hugged him tight. She kissed him on the head and said, "Wanna go for a swim?" then backed up and shifted to dog. She looked at him, her eyes gleaming. She waited for an answer as she slowly walked backwards, smiling a doggy grin.
She looked at him. You could tell it was her if you looked hard enough and payed enough attention to her. She had the same scars as the human KAtelyn in the exact same location.
Though, she had a scar on her stomach as a dog, it was noot shown when she was human. It stood out, and Katelyn remembered it well. She had been hospitalized the day she got it. The building she was in had a bomb set off in it as she was held as one of the hostages. She blacked out as soon as the building blew, but it wasn't the criminals that had set it off. It was the police. The only reason she wasn't left there, is beacuse her stepfather had been the one in charge of the opperation, not even knowing she was there. She was one of few that actually got taken to the hospital. It was a sad day. One of her friends died that day. SOmeone she knew very well.
She winced from the memory and turned, wanting to run to the pond with Domino, but waiting for a reply first.

Domino flicked an ear and gave nodded then raised his body, and head. His tail curled slightly as he trotted down torwards the pond, his nose finding the scent of algea and water and his body following it.
Domino barked and spun around and got into a play position and barked again, then shot the opposite direct, torwards the pond. Last one there is... a rotten egg. he almost said something diffrent but held it in as best he could. Just racing ahead at full speed.
The pond came into his sight, the white moon light shining off the rippling water. His speed picked up slightly and his body flattened out over the ground. As he sprinted down the hill, but then his paws lost their fotting and he rolled, sumersaulting down the hill. He coulda sworn his eyes were rattling around like a cartoon as he hit a rock and stopped his rolling. That and he knew that therre wasnt a bunch of birds, yellow tweety ones, flying around his head.... hopefully.

Katelyn raced after him, laughing the whole way. She watched Domino trip up and she couldn't help but laugh a little.
"Everytime we race... You end up fallin'..." She laughed as she walked to him.
She helped him up and chuckled again, trying hard not to laugh, but failed miserably.
"You sounded as if you were going to say something else.. what were you originally going to say... Last one there..and what?" She smiled at him and laughed.
