Domino shook his head out, still good ways away from the pond. He shrugged and shot torwards the pond. Is naked first!
He laughed and jumped in the air. His front paws pushing forward as he flew in the air, gulping in air he hit the water not knowing who hit it first. He opened his eyes and shifted, the cold water made it difficult, but it still happened.
He broke the surface of the water and looked around smiling the started to tread water, either she hadn't gone in or was under the water still. He smiled and took in a deep breath and floated on his back kicking the water softly.

Katelyn hit the water, but wasn't sure which hit first.She laughed at the idea of...nevermind.
She went underwater and was met by more and more water. She shifted and then surfaced.
"Who won?" She asked, blinking away the water and taking a deep breath following. She laughed as she saw Domino tred the water. She floated on her back until she got closer to Domino.

Domino smiled and closed his eyes as he floated on his back. Then a splash in the water sent a chill up his spine, looking he saw a dorsal fin. Again, his bp spiked, the water heated and then domino swam, paws treading water as he swam torwards the bank opposite of where he had come in, the dorsal fin had disappeared now.
Both eyes widened as he shook himself out. Did you see that? What was it? his heart raced in his chest as he shifted back to his human form still speaking. His body was white, and cold.

Katelyn had her eyes closed as she floated on her back. She pointed to her eyes and chuckled.
"Usually normal people can't see anything when their eyes are closed, Domino," She smiled.
"What did you think you saw?" She smiled again and thought more about Domino. That's all she seemed to do these days: think about Domino. She didn't really know if he would consider her his girlfriend, or that she would even consider him her boyfriend. She knew she liked him (a lot), but did he like her as much as she did? Sure, they had kissed once or twice.. But people can change their mind. Afterall, she did about quitting the force.

Domino looked at her and snorted, both nostrils flared. Funny. I felt the splash and opened my eyes smart one. It was a dorsal fin! Like a sharks, or a dolphins... His bodfy quivered as he pulled himself onto the bank and sat down his eyes dreadfully watching the surface of the water for a hint of what he'd seen before.
Looking back at Katelyn he smiled, the quivered erupted one last time and then melted down to his stomach. So what he liked her. She was another girl, he'd end up hurting her some way. Loves nothing but hormones. Just like shape shifters are just a big bag of rabies. Dirrn stood and shook his hair out like he might have done in his dog form. Forgetting his feelings for just a second, before they came bubbling back up.
She probably thought of them as really close friends, forgetting their night in her house, the days after that, or just everything he'd done. His eyes lowered to the fistful of grass her was tangling in his fingers. He took a deep breath and let a familier heat roll over him as the grass fell to the ground. His navy eyes stared at it between his paws for a while before he traveled the short distance to a half submerdged log and laid down on it. His mind in a blur of thoughts, emotions, and shit.

KAtelyn pulled forward on the water, causing her body to go forward into a standing position. She swam her way over towards the shallower parts and then got out, walked over to Domino, and sat down.
"What's on your mind, Domino?" She asked, her eyes on him. Her eyes were intense. Intense enough to bore right through one's skin if they were not careful. She had many gifts, but the one gift she valued most, was to be able to talk to people. She loved talking, after all it had gotten her into many awkward and dangerous situations before.
She put her hand on Domino's head and ruffled his hair.
"You can tell me anything, you know that, right?" She asked him, her eyes' gaze still intense.

Domino licked her hand and stood on all fours and walked down catiuosly from his perch and trodded through the thick grasses, hoping Katelyn would know enough to follow him.
His heart pounded, theres something icey about feelings. You can never just wish them away and expect it to work. They find a way to burst. But telling them allowed is next to impossible to do without wanting to all but shut down.
Dirrn felt his heart pound withen his chest. So hard he could swear half the town could hear it.
Looking over his shoulder as he walked he waited a second to see if she was following then lifted his gait lazily into a trot. Then in the blink of an eye, a blue flame engulfed his body. A pale skin blue eyed boy emerdged from the flame, its heat was next to nothing to the plant life it ceased.
Domino kept his eyes on the ground, his leather jacket tucked under his arms as it wrapped around him. Somthing about the way it kept pressure on his skin calmed him. Like when they squeeze chut a cow to calm it before it goes to the slaughter room. Well, along those lines exactly. |

Katelyn smiled as Domino licked herhand. She watched him as he got up and walked through the grass. She finally decided to follow and then found him in s rather small clearing. A very small clearing to be more precise.
Katelyn sat down a few feet away from Domino.
"You look like you want to say something, Domino.... Is there something you want to ask?" She asked him, her face pale, both with fear and coolness. It was starting to grow even cooler in the small feild as the sun went further and further down. KAtelyn shivered, but quickly let it pass.
SHe looked back to DOmino, awaiting an answer.

Domino jumped when he heard her voice and quickly turned around to face her, then walked over and sat next to her. His navy blue eyes struggling to find words to say.
Eventually he gave up on words and leaned over and paused for a second. He face flushed and then he leaned further and kissed her lips. I... I really like you, more then a friend and more then we are now.
He leaned back and looked at the ground and rubbed the back of his neck. His eyes watering with embarassment. |

Ktaelyn was surprised when Domino leaned over and kissed her. The kiss was electrifying, and she knew then that Domino actually did like her, and a weight was taken off her shoulders.
She looked to the ground and then looked back up at Domino when he pulled back. She smlied again, her teeth shining a brilliant white.
She put her hand under Domino's chin and lifted his head to face her.
"I like you a lot too... More than what we are now.." She grinned.
She lifted his chin and leaned over ontop of him and kissed his lips, hoping he wouldn't pull back.
