Riley looked at her, and then turned back around and jumped onto the rail. He jumped off and landed on his hands, which in a split second raged in an inferno and Riley shot into the trees his blue pitbull form moving slowly.
The trail back down to the creek seemed longer without another to talk to, but once he got there he laid on the small rock over hanging the little creek. Watched the fish and let his mind race around about the past few days. At least in his pitbull form he had always felt safe, but now he didn't someone knew he was a shifter, and someone knew his dog form...
It was scary to know someone knew you without knowing them, it was scary to be the one on the end of the cross airs.

The clouds were starting to clear and Jessica looked up to the sky, the moon's light was very weak tonight. It was still sprinkling, but as Jessica looked up to the sky, she coulds ee the true beauty of the stars out here. It was nothing like the city with all the lights taking away from the stars in the wide sky. It was not comparrable.
Jessica set the thing of ice down on a small table, thn hopped the fence and walked after Riley. She had both hands in her pockets and she walked down the trail and found him at the creek.
"What was your sister like?" She asked him, lookin at him with a glassy look in her eye. She sat down on the ground and waited for a reply back.

Riley looked up at her and stood and jumped off the rock and walked further down the trail, after giving a low growl. He walked into the tall grass and laid down. His eyes laid on a small mouse burrowing for seed and the like. The sound of an owl gave an alarm and the field mouse dashed under a log, Riley could hear it's small heart frantically beating as the cooes of an owl sounded above.
Riley sighed and looked into the sky as the silloette of the owl flew above, the moon caught his eye. He smiled to himself, remembering the nights he and his sister would come down here and howl to the moon. Slowly he barked then let it hold, howling. Tears rolled down his face, he missed his sister. He would have killed the men who took them, but he couldn't he had let his gaurd down for a minute and then she died.
His shell slowly grew back over him. He couldn't trust anybody. Everytime he did, something bad happened. He had let his gaurd down in the alley and when he had left his sister was killed. Riley stood and lowered his head and walked through the grass away from the girl. Headed torward the woods. Something wouldn't see daylight...

Jessica shook her head and let a tear fall from her eye. She knew how he felt. She knew what it felt like to have what seemed like all the hope in the world be drained because you let your grip slip. SHe knew how it was, how it happened, and why the hope was drained.
She followed him yet again. She wasn't going to let him get away that easy, because then, she probably wouldn't see him again. She walked after him and finally found him, but kept behind. She watched him, followed him like a faithful puppy would its master. She kept silent, not a word spilled from her lips.

Riley heard her footsteps behind him and gave a low growl. He started into a trot and lowered his head. Then in a split second he turned, his canines showing. He jumped landing next to her, he snarled and both black eyes stared at her. Leave you stupid mongrel.
Tears poured down both eyes. He turned and then lundged his paws aimed for her chest to push her over, he just wanted to scare her and leave a mark for her to keep her distance around him. The second he hit something he bit and then jumped off and sprinted further into the woods.
He lost his footing and tumbled, then laid where he came to a stop, tears flowing down his face. His body felt numb. He half hoped whomever tried to kill him the night before would come and finish off the job.

Jessica was knocked over by the dog and he bit her wrist. Nonetheless, she followed him again and stopped a little more than ten feet away from him and stood, waiting for him to start moving again.
She said no word or gave any reply, she simply stood there, as if waiting on him to say something.
There were a couple teeth marks in her wrist, but they didn't hurt as bad as her shoulder did now after being pushed over. She looked at him, her deep blue eyes shining under the moonlight as if they glowed. She stood there still, waiting for him to make the next move.

Riley heard her standing there and just laid. His head resting on the soil. He could hear running water and sighed closing his eyes. He rolled over, and he had been right. He rolled off a small cliff into a stream slightly larger and much faster then the creek by momas.
The current carried him down stream, he let it take him as he swam with it. Not sure what to do next. He had literally been broken. Nothing made sence anymore. His old life was gone. Nothing could be back to normal. Riley took in a gulp of water and splutered a bit then shifted, he slowly floated to the bottom of the stream where it dropped off into a river. Closing his eyes he took in another breath of water. He hadn't ever been a quitter but now he wanted to quit, to just give up. To let himself slip away. Both eyes were dark, black. He felt the bottom of the river and then white flashed in from off him, then a deep darkness.

Jessica watched what he did and quickly ran after him. She dove into the river, a clean slip through the surface, making only the tiniest splash.
She opened her eyes. THe river was dark. SHe swam around, trying tio find him. She finally caught sight of a boy, and she swam to him. She took his hand and pulled him towards the surface, and dragged him to the dirt.
"You're a moron you know it? Which makes you the only one who'll put up with me, which means I'm not about to let a little water kill you." She said and pushed on his chest, and breathed into his mouth. CPR was an official method for her that she had used tons of times. It helped drain the water back up to the top of your body instead of your lungs, causing the air to go in them.

Riley rolled over on his side and looked at her, tested his voice, rough and harsh sounding. Your like a freaking lost puppy. Don't you got your own life?
He leaned against a rock and starred at her with both dark eyes. Your annoying. A hard crack sounded hitting his head and then something grabbed his ear and pulled him to his feet he cried out and then a voice startled him. Boy what the hell you thinkin? Puttin others through hell fo you sorry ass. Girl you shoulda let him drown in that there water, teach him a lesson. Blue imma fix your sorry butt up, Tanite. Weather you like it or not! Girl get up, you too comin with me. Yall horrid to each other. Yet yall all you two got. She walked torwards her home, dragging riley by the ear who protested.
I can walk let me go! she popped his head with her kane again. Shut up! Boy you a dumb thing arn't you, I said you comin wif me! Now come on. she jerked his ear harder and he stumbled forward with a growl. She smacked him and continued on. Girl I'll take you ear to if you don't keep up. she turned around, twisting Rileys ear, who inturn whimpered.

Jessica laughed as she drug Riley by the ear, but stopped and quickly followed when she said she would do the same to her.
She walked beside her and Riley.
"So, why do you live out here instead of in the city? I mean, don't get me wrong, it's beautiful out here, but.. Don't you miss having othe rpeople to talk to?" She asked the woman. She liked her already. She was someone who could make her laugh, yet be serious too.
